Image analysis of Sunshine poster

This poster shows many elements of Mise en scene in it such as the Setting and props used in it; Such as the setting is obviously set in space and has some kind of interaction with the sun as not only is the title of the poster and movie called Sunshine but there is a picture of an immensely large sun in the background of it
Another element that it incorporates is the use of costume as all of the cast in the poster are shown wearing the same uniform showing they are all colleagues in the movie as they all have the same dress code although you cannot make out in the poster any make up or their hair styles as the characters are not given a close up.
Also the poster heavily uses both lights and colour in this poster as it juxtaposes its use of lighting as it uses 'high key' lighting in the poster which is displayed through the use of the sun and then uses 'low key' lighting being space that surrounds the sun, doing this heavily emphasis the magnitude of the sun in the background of the poster. The colour uses in the poster is majority either light with yellow and white colours or dark with black and dark brown.
The Poster uses majority only body language in its poster to portray the characters as the facial expressions of the actors cannot be made out in the poster but the body language used is very march like with level shoulders and forward moving arms as well as this it shows one foot in front of the other with all the characters showing that they are all moving forwards this gives the impression that all characters are very serious and professional as it has an army feel towards it.
Finally the poster positions the characters in front of a massive star enough so they can all be seen and are in shot but no so much that they take up the entire massiveness of the sun in the background so you can equally focus you attention of both of these sites and not be taking in by just one of them.
